Greetings from Lucasville, Ohio.  Here I live in the middle of 110 acres at the foothills of Appalachia.  This effort at further education is to gain the Ed.D. in Curriculum to enhance my skills as a professional educator.  Though basically retired, I teach a course in English at Shawnee State University most every semester.  The job is to pay for my hobbies of shooting sports and survivalism.  I hope to learn better ways to understand my students so as to better meet their educational needs.  The attached picture is of myself on the left, and one of the students I mentored through her college career taken at her graduation.  My webpage is:  http://debdavis.pbworks.com/w/page/17085746/FrontPage.
