Phase IV: Individualizing Your Wiki
Week 7: Conceptualization of the purpose of your wiki
Now you have learned many features of wiki, it is time to make it a useful tool for yourself. Do the following:
a. Determine the primary purpose and audience of your wiki, i.e. for one class of students or more? For one subject or more? For your own professional development? For a collaborative project with your colleagues?
I intend to compose this site for my own edification. However, I believe it should be presented as if an introduction to a research paper, and will be drafted that way. If so, then it would be for extensive use by all my students.
b. Develop the Frontpage to clearly reflect that purpose
Redeveloped Frontpage to reflect purpose above.
c. Develop at least two more new pages for your wiki to reflect the purpose, e.g. lesson plans, class schedule, project description, student grouping, etc
Developed the entire plethora of pages to reflect the purposes.
Week 8: Completion of the wiki project
a. Organize your files on the wiki site, consider using Navigator and Sidebar features - complete
b. All assignments in this class, except discussion posts, should be included and logically organized on the wiki site -- Under Folder EDUC 5502 - Course Documents
c. Self assess the site with the grading rubric and revise prior to the project due time - Below
